About GeorgeWashingtonBridgeToll.com

An independent toll reference for the George Washington Bridge. Operated by Digital Signet, founded by Oliver Wakefield-Smith. Sourced from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, kept current, no advertising overlay between you and the rate.

Why this site exists

The Port Authority publishes its toll schedule as a single page on panynj.gov. That page is authoritative but it is not optimised for the question most drivers actually have: "what will I spend on this bridge over a year?" Most other top-ranking pages are owned by E-ZPass resellers, insurance comparison sites, or legacy travel sites pushing outdated rates from a previous tariff cycle.

This site exists to publish the current rates, with a calculator that turns them into an annual figure for your commute. There is no email gate. There is no data capture beyond standard analytics. The official Port Authority page is linked at the top of every page so the source can be verified.

About Digital Signet

This site is operated by Digital Signet, an independent AI-development studio founded by Oliver Wakefield-Smith. It is part of a portfolio of consumer cost-reference and calculator sites we run as a live R&D lab for our Signet methodology, an autonomous AI development team that ships real software at scale.

Digital Signet does not sell E-ZPass, does not act as a reseller for any toll-payment service, and does not accept paid placements from toll authorities, payment processors, or competing crossing operators. Editorial direction is set by Oliver. Drafts are produced via Digital Signet's autonomous AI development methodology and reviewed against the editorial framework before publication.

Editorial principles

  • Single primary source. Toll rates are taken from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey published toll schedule. The official PANYNJ link is shown at the top of every page; verify before travel.
  • Calculator math is documented inline. The toll calculator uses published rates and a transparent yearly-multiplication for an annual-spend estimate; nothing is hidden.
  • No paid placements. No supplier sponsorships. Independent of the Port Authority, E-ZPass providers, and competing crossings.
  • Update only when the underlying tariff changes. The Port Authority publishes scheduled tariff increases. Site values are re-verified against the official schedule after each tariff cycle and on a periodic check otherwise.
